The Republic of Ireland's Health Service Executive (HSE) has approved quizartinib in combination with cytarabine consolidation chemotherapy as a treatment option for the treatment of adult patients with newly diagnosed acute myeloid leukemia (AML) who are FLT3-ITD mutation positive.
